For the last year and a half I have had the privilege of coaching Joe El Hajj. It goes way beyond coaching at this point as he is kind of like a family member now up in here in Yulee.
I have always provided him workouts to do at home or in the gym, but we have a lot of fun crushing it when he drives up from Jax.
This morning was no exception. Joe arrived around 10 am and we immediately got to work.
Started off with loosening up on the bike at 140 watts for 20 mins and then hit the foam roller and stretched it out before heading to the Oyster Bay courts.
One thing that was great was getting Joe in with my fiancee Stephanie at the Vision Center in Walmart! Joe needed to get new contacts and Steph tested out both eyes and wrote him up a nice prescription!

Big Max started off the day with his daily stretching routine. We found a great video to follow which is about 20 mins long and includes many great running stretches. Ideally I am having him do this 2x a day. This will help in injury prevention and help with flexibility on the court.
Once we got to Oyster Bay the boys warmed up and drilled hard for a solid 30 mins. Drills included cross courts and ripping up the middle.

I was fortunate enough to have my new main man, Vikram show up for some work on the Fearhand, Footwork, Serves, and the Backhand groundy. He is coming a long great and is super duper fun to work with!
Max and Joe love playing points, so I told them to play best of 7 baseline games to 11. When I tell you it was high level, I mean it. They were melting my face off with their rallies! Both looked awesome and was super fun to watch. Max has gotten a lot bigger now so he's able to handle the insane pace Joe brings to the table.
After tennis we all hit up Chipotle quickly before I had to get PK off the bus.
We got back to the pad and crushed a solid lift, and bike.
The lift included bench press, hex bar deadlifts, reverse flies on the swiss ball, elevated split squats on the bosu ball, core work and a bunch more!
Until next time...happy thanksgiving!
